Louis Vuitton has unveiled its latest masterpiece in the world of fragrances — “Myriad.” This scent is the sixth addition to the “Les Extraits” Collection.
Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud collaborated with renowned architect Frank Gehry to bring together their exceptional talents and create a stunning bottle design and a collection of fragrances that truly exemplify their individual artistry. “Les Extraits,” which marks the Maison’s debut into the world of extract fragrances, was meticulously crafted using only the finest ingredients.
In his first-ever fragrance collaboration, Gehry infused his iconic architectural touch into the design of the bottles, seamlessly merging Louis Vuitton’s distinctive form with his signature elements. In addition to the bottles, Gehry also crafted a one-of-a-kind fragrance trunk exclusively for the collection, adding another layer of luxury and sophistication.
At the heart of “Myriad” lies a sensorial essence derived from Assam wood. Handpicked by Belletrud, it was selected from an exclusive supplier dedicated solely to Louis Vuitton. This owned ingredient enhances the fragrance’s woody oud notes, achieving a harmonious balance. “Myriad” features expertly blended notes of roses, saffron, cocoa, ambrette, white musk and a touch of moss to create an enchanting and multi-faceted olfactory experience. Each note unfolds gracefully, revealing captivating nuances.
Myriad” is now available via Louis Vuitton’s website.
